Templates — Regression Test

Renamed in 5.0.0: what this doc used to call "Practices" is called Templates everywhere in the app now. If you still see the word "practice" on screen, that is the bug.

Steps​

  1. Open the Templates tab.
    • A gallery of template cards loads, grouped by category
    • Each card shows an icon, title, "when to use" text, and a duration badge (~X min)
    • Nothing on screen says "practice" or "Practices"
  2. Click a template card.
    • A detail panel opens with the description and a read-only content preview
    • A Use this template button and a Back to templates link are visible
  3. Click Use this template.
    • The button shows "Creating…" while it works
    • The app switches to Documents and opens the newly created document
    • The document has the template's title, icon, and content
  4. Reload/restart the app.
    • The cloned document persists with its title and content

Variations​

  1. Open a template, click Back to templates, then clone a different template.
    • The gallery reloads correctly; both clones exist as separate documents
